About Me

Born in the rolling succotash hills of East Tennessee and quickly moved to Maryland and eventually Arizona via my Mom’s Chevy Chevelle and sense of adventure.  There I was raised on a steady diet of pet horned toads and sunburn until I decided to join my parents to live in Morocco.

It was the experience of that exotic place with its ancient medinas, strange smells and couscous nights that planted the travel bug in me.  It also helped that my Mom worked for the State Department.  In my subsequent travels I have worked as a US Embassy security technician, visa clerk, waiter, Persian run cleaner, P.E. Instructor, sandwich tech, doorman, customer service technician, assistant general manager and now web designer/photographer.

This web log is a way to express myself through words and images while allowing me to experiment with design/media trends.  In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, cooking and politics fueled by a general curiosity of a little of everything in the world.

Quite a tour so far with lots more to see and do.  Enjoy your visit and please feel free to participate.
